Romeo oh Romeo

My friend Jen has officially set a date.  Her wedding will be next spring; April 16th, 2011.  After having a chat with her about her thoughts so far on her wedding, she said she knows she wants yellow.  Here’s an awesome dress I found at bloomingdale’s that would make a great yellow bridesmaid dress for spring.

Next we talked flowers a little and we were loving these yellow bouquets…

OK OK so Jen hates these circular “sun burst” flowers (but I love them ;o) Here are simpler yellow bouquets that are much more “Jen.”

We also loved the pallette of flowers in this amazing centerpiece.

AND SPEAKING OF CENTERPIECES…. we are toying with the idea of using bird-cages and nests in the decor of Jen’s wedding.

Also love love love the idea of using little nests and eggs to go with the spring birdcage centerpieces!!

We are going to hit up the sales right after Easter and just grab everything we can find!!! How awesome are these decor from William Sonoma?!?

We would of course change the colors of the eggs and flowers to Yellow!! So psyched to help plan this spring wedding you have no idea!!!

Beef Stew and Calligraphy Fabric

Also wanted to post a home project I did which was re-upolstering this wicker chair in my house.  I found this awesome calligraphy fabric at a local fabric store and covered the cushions.  It came out fantastic and looks perfect in our house.

A few months after I did this chair I started seeing the same fabric pop-up in major retail stores such as…. you know it…. Pottery Barn.
